What others can see about you

Every user who creates an account on Altern automatically gets a public profile. It lives at:
https://altern.ai/@username
Your username becomes part of the web address. For example, @dariubs is the public profile of Altern’s founder.
This page is a simple way for other people to see who you are on Altern and what you’re interested in.
At the top of your profile you can show basic information about yourself:
Below that, your profile displays activity related to AI tools:
Saved AIs are visible by default, but you can turn that off in settings if you want to keep them private.
Go to Settings to update your name, bio, links, and privacy options. Changes appear on your public profile right away.
Sign in, open your settings page, and fill in the details you want others to see. Your public profile exists as soon as your account is created — you just decide how much of it is visible.
It's easier when you're signed in — Altern helps you get more out of AI.
