Charm's glamorous terminal coding agent
Crush is a terminal-based coding assistant from Charm, the team known for polished command-line interfaces. It offers a full-screen TUI where you chat with a model, approve file edits and run tools, and it supports many providers plus MCP servers.
The interface is the draw. Sessions, permissions and model switching are easy to manage, and it feels more like an app than a raw chat prompt. It also keeps context per project.
It is open source, so you pay only for the model API you connect. Fans of command-line tooling will like it, though it is a younger project than Aider or Claude Code.
