Wordsmith, from Automated Insights, converts structured data into written narratives at scale — thousands of personalized reports or financial summaries generated automatically. The Associated Press has used it to produce automated earnings reports, which is a good example of how far natural language generation can go for genuinely formulaic, data-driven writing.
