Budget-friendly email API by Netcore Cloud, popular with high-volume senders
Pepipost started as an independent Indian email delivery company before Netcore Cloud, a larger marketing technology firm also based in India, acquired it and folded it into its broader product suite. The Pepipost name has stuck around for the transactional sending piece specifically, even as the parent company has pushed to expand beyond South Asia into more competitive Western markets where SendGrid and Mailgun already have a long head start.
It's not an AI product, and its reputation is built on price, particularly for companies sending large volumes where a fraction of a cent per email adds up fast. That pricing advantage tends to matter most to companies already operating at a scale where Amazon SES would be the natural competitor, and Pepipost has tried to position itself in that gap. It's less globally recognized than the American and European names on this list, and that unfamiliarity is sometimes a legitimate concern during a vendor evaluation, since a lot of deliverability reputation is built on track record that's harder to verify from outside. For companies already sending significant volume through Netcore's other marketing tools, though, or those willing to do their own diligence on a less famous name in exchange for lower costs, it's a real option rather than an obscure one.
