OpenAI Presence

Presence lets enterprises build AI agents for voice and chat that operate within a company's own policies, permissions, and escalation rules — looking up account details, taking pre-approved actions, and handing off to a human right at the edge of what they're allowed to do. It launched as a limited general-availability program with OpenAI's own deployment engineers guiding early rollouts rather than a self-serve product, and OpenAI reportedly runs part of its own phone support line on it.
