LibreTranslate

LibreTranslate is a free and open-source machine translation API powered by the Argos Translate library rather than a proprietary cloud engine. It provides language detection, text translation, file translation, a browser interface, and an OpenAPI-compatible HTTP service. Developers can run it locally or on their own servers for privacy, offline use, customization, and data sovereignty, install it as a Python package or container, add language models, or use the managed hosted service when they do not want to operate the infrastructure.
