Kilo Code is an open-source agentic engineering platform available in VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, the terminal, and cloud workflows.

It can understand a codebase, plan and implement changes, run commands, check its work, automate browser tasks, review code, and orchestrate specialized agents. Kilo supports hundreds of hosted and local models, bring-your-own API keys, configurable modes and permissions, skills, MCP integrations, and automated CI workflows. Its core IDE extensions and CLI are MIT-licensed.
