IBM Granite

Granite is IBM’s Apache-licensed family of enterprise foundation models. It includes language models optimized for retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, and agents, alongside code, document, vision, speech, embedding, time-series, and Guardian safety models. Granite offers compact sizes for local and edge deployment as well as larger enterprise variants, with downloadable weights and support across IBM watsonx, partner clouds, Ollama, and open inference frameworks.
