Google Assistant

Google Assistant handles natural-language voice commands across Android phones, smart speakers, and Nest devices — reminders, smart home control, calendar management — but Google has been actively migrating these experiences over to Gemini on newer Android devices. It's still running on a lot of existing hardware, but it's clearly the outgoing generation rather than where Google's putting new development effort.
