Codegen offers AI engineers that take tasks from Slack, Linear or GitHub and open pull requests for you. You describe the work in a ticket, the agent explores the codebase, makes changes and runs tests, then asks for review.

It has an SDK as well, so teams can script large codemods and refactors across many repositories. That is where it shines: mechanical changes that no one wants to do by hand.

It is aimed at engineering teams rather than hobbyists. Results depend heavily on how well the ticket is written and how good your test suite is.
