Open-source library that lets AI agents control a browser
Browser Use is a Python library that lets a language model drive a real web browser. The agent looks at the page, decides what to click or type and carries on until the task is done, such as filling forms or collecting data.
It became popular quickly because it is easy to start with a few lines of code and works with many models. A hosted cloud version handles scaling and captchas.
Web agents remain somewhat unreliable on complex sites, so build in checks and retries. For automating repetitive browser chores it is one of the most active open-source options.
