Azure AI Document Intelligence is Microsoft's cloud service for turning documents into structured data. Its read and layout models extract printed and handwritten text, tables, selection marks, and document structure, while prebuilt models handle documents such as invoices, receipts, identity cards, contracts, and tax forms. Developers can build custom extraction and classification models and use the service through Document Intelligence Studio, REST APIs, and client SDKs. A limited F0 tier is available for testing.
