OpenAI's Canvas is a new feature within ChatGPT, designed to enhance both writing and coding tasks that require iterative editing and refinement. Available in beta for Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Educational users, Canvas enables more precise collaboration with ChatGPT by allowing inline edits, feedback, and revisions. Users can easily manage writing or code projects, with options to adjust text length, readability, and apply final polish, or to review and debug code with language-specific improvements. Canvas fosters a more dynamic interface compared to the traditional chat format, enabling greater control and flexibility over complex projects. More advanced features like file uploads and images are expected in future updates.
