Blackbox AI is a coding assistant and multi-agent development platform available as a VS Code extension, browser-based editor, CLI, and standalone app, with plugins reaching into 35+ IDEs. Beyond real-time code completion and a chat assistant for debugging and explaining code, it can pull working code out of a screenshot, video frame, or Figma design, which is handy when you're rebuilding something from a tutorial or a design mockup rather than typed instructions. It also gives access to a large pool of underlying models (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, xAI and others) and routes requests among them through what it calls a Chairman LLM system, plus autonomous coding agents that can run in the cloud or be dispatched several at a time against the same repository.
